We are looking for a teacher to join our Geography department in a team that is welcoming, good humoured, dedicated and supportive.

Pupils have two 50 minute lessons per week in years 7 to 9 and as an option subject in years 10 and 11, three 50 minute lessons. Geography is a popular subject at key stage 4, with over half the cohort choosing to study the subject. Our GCSE outcomes compare favourably to other similar exam centres with particularly strong outcomes for our high prior attainers.

Our knowledge based curriculum at key stage 3 has recently been rewritten and is engaging, challenging and allows for excellent progress to be made, as well as preparing pupils for the rigour of key stage 4. We ensure pupils have the opportunity to experience fieldwork and we respond to relevant local and national issues in the classroom.
