The MFL Department at The Hurst is a friendly team of committed professionals who aim to empower pupils and enrich their lives through the study of French, German and Spanish in Key Stage 3 and 4.

The Department regularly achieve high outcomes with GCSE results typically at 70+% Grades 4-9 and 20+% Grades 7-9. Progress made by pupils across the whole ability range is good.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our highly regarded MFL team in order to deliver a combination of French, German and/or Spanish. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive school to help deliver outstanding lessons and ensure good outcomes for all of our students. Applications are welcome from NQTs/ECTs as well as experienced teachers. Part-time contracts may also be considered.

The department enjoys well-equipped classrooms with projectors; sound system.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our school. The post of ‘General Teacher’ arises as we reshape our curriculum and will be an excellent opportunity for an individual with the skills to teach across a number of subjects. In particular, the ability to teach English, Geography, and/or Science, at Key Stage 3, will be advantageous. However, specific subject allocations will be discussed at interview.
