We would like to invite you to visit the fair with your child to ask any questions from 2:30 - 3:30 pm in Pines Dance Studio.
The week will end with Mock Interview Day. Students have applied for a job and created a personal statement. They will be interviewed and given feedback on how well they performed, allowing them to learn from the experience and make improvements. The week is always a huge success, receiving very positive feedback from the students.
Monday saw all Year 7 follow an exciting day of Bloodhound activities. They spent time finding out about the history of Bloodhound, the maths behind the challenge to break the land speed record, the theory of the forces and finally had the opportunity to design and build their own rocket powered cars. The excitement and learning doesn’t stop there, on Tuesday 27thMarch we will be joined by the RAF and our cars will be put to the test! Each teams’ car will be propelled by a rocked in a 25 metre race and the fastest will go on to represent the school at the regional finals in April. Check back to find our winner and see how we get on in the regional finals!
